Country House Garden

"Sue has worked in our garden since 2007. She has proved to be a most reliable and hardworking mainstay. She has masterminded and remodelled our garden concentrating on improving and enhancing the structural layout with walling, pathways, plants and ironwork. Sue has patiently and steadily kept up with all the seasonal maintenance jobs, weeding, remodelling compost areas, edging, dividing, replanting, feeding and pruning.

One of Sue's greatest attributes is her ability to prune with a real skill and knowledge of the growing habits of climbers. She has successfully retrained all my climbers; roses, clematis, wisteria, and vines. Sue is a knowledgable plantswoman with a good design eye for colour, harmony and balance.

In Autumn 2010 Sue and I embarked on a remodelling project of two large herbaceous borders. These borders were recently completed ready for the Spring. Sue is very proactive and has her own small team that she can call upon for specialist structural work as required. We have also worked very happily together in the garden on many occasions".
