Sue's profession in horticulture began in 2005 when an application to create a courtyard garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2006 was accepted, which was awarded a Silver Medal. After the whirlwind of Chelsea, Sue was asked to design gardens and formed Bradbury Designs. She then studied horticulture at Waterperry, Oxfordshire and gained the RHS level 2 qualification. Her commissions have been varied and have included creating designs for both cottage and country house gardens, with traditional and contemporary styles. Sue has a detailed discussion with her clients in order to fully understand their needs and from this brief will provide a quotation for the design. Once the design is approved, Sue recommends the services of a trusted landscape contractor and can project manage if required. She then returns after the hard landscaping is completed and will personally undertake the planting. In this way she sees the whole design through from concept to completion, ensuring total client satisfaction. |
