A Cotswold cottage ~ Keen's Cottage

I moved into Keens Cottage in 1991, undertaking the re-design of the garden in 2000, once we had completed the cottage renovations.

Using topiary to provide structure, I made the garden less formal with cottage garden planting.

A rose arch walk divides the main garden from the orchard, where wildflowers are encouraged to grow and a mown path leads you to the hens and a fernery, which includes the Bothy I designed from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, plus a utility area for the greenhouse and compost etc.

The garden at Keens Cottage is forever evolving and has become quite an attraction, opening for the NGS and numerous private visits.

If you would like a similar garden, give me a call to discuss your ideas.
