A COuntry Cotswold House

A New Garden with a Mature Design

The client bought this house off-plan in 2016 and asked me to design the garden while the house was being built, so it would be right from the start.

The design included a formal garden surrounding the house, softened with plenty of hedges and trees.

Wildflowers beneath the Malus Evereste trees lining the driveway contribute to the established look, as do the wildflowers on the bank of the tennis court.

On the opposite side,  along the driveway entrance, we used a matching line of mature Prunus avium to create an avenue.  Five years on and you would never know they were from different eras.

We have designed phase two around a recently-built swimming pool room and will undertake planting this winter.
